As from 1.02.2001 the theory test was made compulsory, meaning that even if you have a full car licence you still have to complete one before a practical test can be conducted.

To book a theory you can phone or book on the DSA wedsite as shown below.

The charge for this is £31.00, which can be paid for on a credit card over the phone (driver licence number will also be required)
